1 Psychiatry, PC was established in 2005 and has been providing health care services to the Dakota Dunes community for over 15 years. We provide psychiatric medication evaluation and mental health counseling, as well as psychiatric medical services such as Ketamine Treatment for chronic depression and anxiety.

Why We Do Not Accept Insurance
Unfortunately insurance companies in the United States undervalue the critical importance of mental healthcare. They make it difficult for doctors in private practice to survive due to complicated billing procedures, lack of timely reimbursement, and the undercutting of provider's fees. As a result, WE DO NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE and you will need to pay for all services via cash or credit/debit card. If you have insurance, we can provide you with a diagnostic receipt that you are able to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network partial reimbursement.
Why We Require Pre-Payment
In order to avoid the expense of past-due collections, we require pre-payment for all services. You will need to pay for your service at the time when you schedule your appointment. This also helps us reduce the cost of no-shows and late cancellations. Cancellations made within 24-hours of your scheduled appointment time are billed at full cost. Repetitive cancellations could also result in being billed for an appointment time.
